Birthday Weekend

I recently turned 21 last Saturday and my fiance and I celebrated by taking a weekend trip to Seattle. Most things didn't go as planned, but I still enjoyed myself. In the meantime, I was able to accomplish a few goals.

007. Learn how to make 15 alcoholic drinks [1/15]
We bought some alcohol and some juice and I made my own recipe! I call it 'Tropical Dragon'. I'll update later on the recipe, and include some photos.
062. Party on my 21st Birthday! COMPLETED!
On my birthday, we went out to Seattle. We at dinner at a nice french restaurant and then went back to the hotel to have fun and drink.
066. Have a photo shoot with someone COMPLETED!
During the day, we met up with a photographer couple and we had an engagement session. They were looking for people for their portfolio so we were able to get them done for free! I can't wait to see the proofs, but I have to wait a week. I will make sure to post a couple of pictures when I get them. It was so much fun, I can't wait to have another photoshoot. Too bad I don't know when that will happen again.

I was going to go to Pike Place Market but we didn't have time. Oh well. I'm trying to plan another Seattle getaway soon so hopefully I will be able to accomplish more next time.

I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago saying that I will be making some changes to my list. I've finally had some time to sit down and figure out what I want to change. So, here they are.

004. Cook 2 new dishes a month for 6 months will be changed to Cook 20 new dishes. I don't want to have a set amount to cook each month, it makes me worry. Instead, I have changed it to a total amount of dishes, and I've added more dishes.
016. Don't eat fast food more than twice a month, each month will be changed to Eat as least 15 home cooked meals every month. It is easier for me to keep track of what I eat at home rather than when I eat out. Also, giving myself the allowance of two fast foods makes me feel like I have a coupon I can use. I didn't like thinking of it that way.
024. Straighten my bottom teeth will be changed to Get my teeth whitened. With everything going on right now, I won't have enough money to pay for this. And I wasn't sure if it would be finished by then.
028. Wake up before 10am every morning consecutively for a year will be changed to Wake up before 10am at least five times a week for one year. Waking up before 10am everyday for one year is purely impossible for me. Some days I just need to be able to sleep in. I will record this goal by weeks instead of 5x a week for 52 weeks.
030. Track my health progress in a notebook will be changed to Track my health progress on my blog. I find it easier to update my blog than my notebook.
047. Visit all counties in Washington will be changed to Visit half the counties in Washington. Washington has way too many counties. This goal is nearly impossible since I don't have a big budget for traveling right now. Besides, I'd rather spend the money going to other places than trying to visit each county. I would like to visit half the counties though. I'm already halfway there. I might change this again later if I move to a different state or if I find something more interesting.
056.Attend 2 Seattle Mariners games (one home and one away) -- see below
057.Attend 2 Seattle Seahawks games (one home and one away) will be combined with the goal above and be changed to Attend 2 Seattle sports games. These types of events cost a lot of cash, and I don't think I would be able to attend four games within two years. I will add an additional goal later on, I just don't know what to replace it with yet.

040. Help the Hubby create his own 101 in 1001 list

I made a lot of these goals in the beginning is a rush to write the list. I don't feel that bad with changing them because sometimes you lose interest in certain activities. I will make the second set of updates when I figure out what to change them to.

Finished Photobook

039. Make a scrapbook for someone else COMPLETED!
I actually finished this photobook back in the beginning of January. However, I was on vacation until the end of February and was not able to ship it until the beginning of March. My client, Evan's mom, won this photobook as a prize for a contest. Here a picture of the cover and a couple of other pages. These are the digital copies. I was able to take physical pictures but I don't have them uploaded.

I've been taking a look at my list lately, and I've realized that some of the goals aren't interesting to me anymore. So, I will be changing up some of the goals. I will make a post (or two) about which goals I'm changing, and what the new goals will be. Stay tuned for that!

One Card Finished!

079. Pay off my credit card debt entirely [1/3]
Yay! I have one credit card paid off! My dad has been helping me with my payments, so I didn't even realize that he paid it off until I decided to take at the balance today. It was paid off on 12/27/09. Wow, that's almost two months ago! The other two are almost paid off too. I hope to accomplish this goal by the end of the year.

New Layout

I've decided to change the layout. I really love this one. Its so simple, but great at the same time. I need to change the colors I've been using for my posts too. But I will change them later, I'm too lazy right now (which has been happening lately). Haha...I'm off for now. Let me know what you think!

Another Movie

068. Watch 101 movies [13/101]
The day before Valentine's Day, I watched Couples Retreat. It was a good movie but it wasn't as funny as it was supposed to be. Oh well, that's ok. I still liked it. One more movie down, many more to go.

My Goals

I've decided that 50 goals is way too many for one year. So, I'm just gonna stick with the 30 goals that I've already posted. Let's see how I do with that list.

Time Well Wasted

Lately I haven't really been a goal-accomplishment mood. I've been the lazy, sleep and lounge all day mood. I haven't really done much for the beginning of the year. We are already halfway into February and far from completing my goals. However, I did complete some goals.

2010 Goals Pt. 1

I know this post is a little late, but its still January, right? I've decided to set some goals for this year for me to accomplished. I like the idea of having 1001 days to complete my 101 goals, but it also gives me an excuse to procrastinate. I keep telling myself, "I don't need to do that now. I can do that later. I still have 2 years to accomplish it." Yeah, enough of that. From now on, I will make a list of goals that I want to accomplish in that year. Every year, I will make a list of 50 goals that I want to accomplish (only 30 goals are from my list).

Donate Rice

I felt that it was time to donate some more rice. I donated a big chunk today, to make my total 6,000. One of my goals for this year to donate a total of 40,000. Not really close yet, but its only January. I will donate some more later on this week.

Wow. Its been awhile. I need to start writing in this more...

I have a few updates for you all. First off, right now I am vacationing in Hawaii! I am having some warm fun in the sun! Well, actually, I haven't really been out in the sun that much yet. Only been here for 3 days and I've only been hanging out around the house. Here is what I have accomplished since last time:

001. Read 50 books [4/50]
I finished book #4. Now I am reading Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyers. It is the last book in the series.
052. Visit Hawaii again
I finally took that trip that I have been wanting to take. I came to Hawaii on January 12th. I am in Hawaii!! :]
054. Visit 26 Cities/Towns starting with each letter of the alphabet [1/26]
I am here in Hawaii, staying in Ewa Beach. I have never been to Ewa Beach before, so letter E is now crossed off my list.
080. Earn $100 from blogging in one year [$25.74/$100]
I received my 2nd payment from Adgitize last week. So now, I am a quarter way done with this goal.
